Saturday, and it's raining
Admittedly, it is rain, and while playing a bit with net to grab a Fedora we discover one or another novelty.
Today I learned that the servers emule MaxPT Portuguese Tagus & Sado closed. Second comment I heard there was not due to problems with justice, but the truth is finally closed.
Also yesterday, found the net a few posts to indicate that famous Razorback, the giants of the P2P world stage also closed. According to an online journal, the Belgian police arrived to arrest even the owner of Razorback 2.0. It seems that even the newspaper said the entity which managed the Razorback 2.1 fixes terminate the same.
Is thus taken the reins to silence the movement of shares worldwide. The question now will be like going forward.
For many years, which shared programs, movies, games, songs in ftps, this whole process has evolved. Then it was the proliferation of warez sites, Kazaa, DirectConnect then, and finally emule.
What is the future of the Internet. When the debate is as much access to the information society, and each house having an internet access, it is my personal opinion that the net does not nowadays have content that is sufficient to hold the users screen.
Taking the p2p, the drawers of music, movies, games and more wahetever exist? Chats? Well they died: ICQ never seems to have come to stay, the IRC has died ... was stabbed in part by MSN and the passage of novelty effect of the boom. MSN, the giant firms are now competing ...
I personally use the net to see two or three blogs, some news sites, see emails, and work remotely, because practically what is done in the company everything is done around here. Just beyond the stream of work, it seems to me that the fun part is to die. This course is an opinion, but over all these years I was bound to play more, I saw many people disappear, detached, just ... I inclusive.
Well and now I monetize my connection of 4 MBit.
I get the Fedora Core 5 - Test 3 http://lisa.gov.pt at a speed of 476 kb / s.
Excellent, could not be better ...
After reading a blog Vitor Domingos, but this particular post I discovered that he was here, on land tugas.
Apparently tux.cprm.net disappeared once, long ago had seen anything about it in a month when it crashed. Even before the DVD when it blew Fedora Core 4, gasp drew up the same FTP Novis when it was released, because the ftp Telepac ... nothing.
Where can still visit Darkstar, but this usually always had some limitations of bandwidth, at least when I used it noticed congestion. So it is to appreciate these new government projects: http://lisa.gov.pt
