Windows 7 on a Pentium 2 266MHz with 128 RAM and less ...

Apparently, someone managed to put Windows 7 on a P2 with 96 megs to 266 Mhz. Still going ... try a P1. So is it will.

Awesome.

Post here

hi!

W7 runs on a P2 with 266MHz CPU, 96MB RAM & 4Mb graphics card!

i have done three tests: 2 SUCCESSFUL ...
1. 128 MB RAM
2. 96 MB RAM

take a look at the screenshots ...

On my third test with 64 MB i got some errormessage about "insufficient memory", then it rebooted ...

Also i Have to P1 with 1MB 166Mhz CPU & graphic card, without the powersupply-unit, i have the Used it for some tests on another PC.

if i can find the Powersupply-unit, I'm going to test the P1 tomorrow ...

eheheh should be 20 times slower than the Atom of today, those who are said to serve "so" to write emails and little else. The original author said how long it took to make the first bootup?
