Blunders

Yesterday came a great article available on Online Business Journal titled "A government ... the IRS." The link is back there and I would just highlight two or three sentences that remain.

One day not too far a president sacked a prime minister in Portugal. Reason: "mess". The roue Santana Lopes came out and took with him the word. Hey her back, following a hasty rate increase IRS. And not ...

....

Abandoned ourselves to external intervention who is also without the north. The markets are "uncontrolled", as the German Minister of Finance. The EU is desaustinada. When one days Barroso said Europe was a Boeing with no one in the cockpit, barely knew that years later, Boeing would continue with it even without a pilot on board.

Portugal is also a plane without a pilot, but smaller: it is a Cessna, those who advertise on beaches. In the band says: "Party on." Goes to the airport hoping that there is the IMF (and you, sir taxpayer no longer knows if afraid to find it or secretly want).

Now the above are for the most of the pure truths. See what you can now read about these antics via public for example.

"The laws are valid from the moment they are published, from the day they say they come into force. If there's one law [published Thursday] that says that comes into force tomorrow, then it's tomorrow [today], "said Vital Moreira in Lisbon, MEP also chosen by PS.

Prime Minister Jose Socrates, stressed today that the update of the withholding tax tables in IRS effect on wages since June and not in May.

Asked about the moment they take effect the update of the withholding tax tables in IRS, the prime minister stressed that it would be ordered from the "June, as I said [Thursday] the Minister of Finance [Teixeira dos Santos]. "

"Effective ordered in June. This is the position of the Government. I hope there is the slightest doubt ", he stressed José Sócrates.

Vital Moreira declined to comment on these statements, claiming ignoring them.

"I know the statements of Prime Minister and I will not comment," he said.

We have reached total disorientation .... This was the week after the government announcements, and advertisements in the media, which caused chaos in interpretation and search the latest version to thousands of Portuguese people - at least those who still care about something with the timeliness and not resign themselves to accept and just know when things are already implemented.

Yesterday, after the departure of the new IRS tables, where the blogosphere for comments until you realize that the Portuguese do not know the accounts, the government says, contradicts and back to say. "Bora there to pay more taxes," and yet still with TGV's (even after the Spaniards have suspended), and cancels the third contest of the bridge then do another.

Bridge not just more talk, because I live in South Bank and in fact the bridge is missing all of these areas, but please .... suspend investment.

Ending up with business consultants in the state, once and for all those who do not bring anything to work. We have such qualified people out there, and if not come to put those who are unemployed to work, already receiving a subsidy. But of course this all for political courage is needed, this or any other government, and no one understands these matters, as is the habit. It is thanks to this anarchy that this goes well and will become worse.

And ready ... is weekend, we should take not to worry and relarxarmos.

Day 29 I think there is an outbreak. ... let's see how many there appear. Certainly if we create a group on facebook for this cause will have more supporters.

Works: Bridge April 25 with the proposed works

No comments February 6th, 2010 Edgar Durão In comments

I hope that does not cause pandemonium in the past, but there are ready will survive.

The Roads of Portugal (EP) last week approved the draft of the speech that will be an international tender to be launched in coming weeks. If all goes as scheduled, the works will start already this summer Although the period of increased traffic congestion on the bridge April 25 in August - the months without tolls - the movement is over 165 000 cars / day, Eduardo Gomes , vice chairman of the EP, does not anticipate the traffic constraints. Any impact will result from the need to move equipment and men, and the distraction of drivers with the workers working on the bridge. Do not wait for the mega-traffic jams in the summer of 2002 that flooded the southern access because of the replacement of expansion joints.

Already with regard to rail traffic, the EP allows more constraints. Interventions must be made outside the hours of movement of suburban trains in the evening, and this is a matter of compliance more difficult, admits Eduardo Gomes, insofar as the work requires that off at the mains which circulates trains for security reasons. The EP has been working with the operators of rail and road bridge (Lusoponte and Fertagus) to minimize potential impacts on circulation.

Petty politics: impending resignation of José Sócrates

7 comments February 3rd, 2010 Edgar Durão 7 comments

Today, the theme here is politics. In recent days the country has again been pushed into a more novel "calhandrice" as he called him out there in newspapers.
The story "Mario Crespo" I do not know what went well or poorly told is frightening.

The article that led to that this was here but has been told that both should not be news to anyone. After further through a colleague still found this one to 14/12 and that is not very good anything or anyone. Anyway ....

Today I open the television, and on the 1st page in Sic News, beyond all controversy, I read on the cover of I that the dismissal of Jose Socrates is imminent and will be one of the dominant themes of the State Council today called for Cavacoa Silva (the another is the law of the regional finances, aka, controversy Madeira) ??!?!

I'm not a political ideology of the PS, but it seems premature to these things, and avoid.

The government has now been elected. We need stability. We need the government to achieve goals and pursue some goals.

The last thing we need in this country right now is chaos and confusion with any election ... .. much less higher taxes ... as some "idiots" * defend.

They abdicate that part of their earnings millionaires and stop trying to be the people who earn little to support it. Idiots .... win awards, prizes and more, plus who knows what coming from dozens of businesses, and must always be here for the low pay beans.

By way of shooting, unreasonable, it is more like a sort of incursions by the customers of BPP with the Finance Minister Teixeira dos Santos during a conference of the Journal of Business .

He has already threatened to resign as well, and says it well: "not a penny more in the BPP." Enough of being we pay the crises of others .... arrives. Lost money they live with that. Were deceived go to Court ...

* "Idiots" = people with ideas.

Pope attacked in St Peter's Basilica

No comments December 25th, 2009 Edgar Durão No comments

The Pope was attacked, but the most curious is that as the Berlusconi, also in this case is said to be someone with mental problems. What the hell? Now all people are attacking someone with mental problems? Either that or the media almost immediately try to soften the situation by labeling the attackers of "mentally ill".

Well, thank god in this case the Pope was not harmed, as opposed to Berlusconi.

Video on Youtube:

The Pope Benedict XVI last night suffered a minor incident when a woman pushed to the ground firing at the time the pontiff went through the central corridor of St. Peter's Basilica where he celebrated Mass of the Rooster. Benedict XVI came to suffer nothing but French Cardinal Roger Etchegaray, who accompanied him, he fell and fractured his femur bone.

PT - Celebrities With Fiber

Always considered myself, and I was part of us with fiber, but now this sentence still makes more sense.

Welcome to the future: now we're even here at home with fiber, even yourself!

And before you say why so much, you just say it's good! Good move from one ADSL 8Mbps to 100Mbps, have HD channels and TV throughout the house! Everything else is passed and nothing will certainly be as before. Download an iso of a DVD is almost like going there to drink a coffee! :)

Jingle bells, Christmas

2 comments December 1st, 2009 Edgar Durão 2 comments

In the midst of crazy that is run over by shopping centers, stores, and all that is usually large surface - including roads, we decided to holiday today, and enjoy the tree up as the festive season is coming.

It is not really the Tree of Zon , but it is ours and we will follow over the next 37 days around here, and they have even a gift.

I remember when I was little I loved to do the tree, then lost the habit, he recovered a few years later, and despite the values change, and the consumer society have also changed greatly, the magic of the little tree to keep flashing if! Ready .... now have a timer that turns on and off without us, we pull the plug, but it is almost the same thing.

DSC02376

Votes for all an excellent Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Environmentalists note: no tree was felled in order to achieve this feat. Our tree is full of plastic made by IKEA, to the best opinion as to the manufacturer in question (at least that's what's in the box - who actually did not already know ;) ).

Just the curiosity of two cats was "piqued", given the confounding effects of lights and be a great attraction for our friends from spiked tail :)
