Finance, the IRS and Twitter

And there are funny things! This could almost be a beautiful fable (the topic of the post), but the DGCI, or Finance, better known by the IRS tax for most mortals have a channel on Twitter , and the same may be known that was once postponed the delivery of the 2nd phase of the IRS.

Was extended the deadline for delivery of the Model 3 (Annexes A, H and J) to 18.4 days. More information: http://bit.ly/cwFJTb

The delivery of Phase 2, Section 3 of the declaration of the IRS, will take place from 4.19 to 5.28. More information: http://bit.ly/cwFJTb

This is what one can read in the channel of DGCI on Twitter.

The communique states similarly that "This postponement, the 16th to 19th April in no way affect the taxpayers covered by this second phase, since the tax shall, for those who deliver their statements on the 19th, such reimbursement when due, and provided also that verified the requirements established for this purpose will be issued within 20 days from the day April 16. "

Prays and who says that public services are bad? Five points for them and for the use of new media. Era could have sent an email too!

Simplex:: Online Services - Driving Licenses & Medical Consultations

There was talk recently of the blogosphere a service IMTT through which one could change the address of the license, or even change your address.

IMTT

By accessing the address https: / / servicos.imtt.pt / may thus undertake the said amendments, with a lower price than in stores practiced as a citizen and the like.

What services are available at the reception desk?
In this counter are available the following services:
- Registration contact information for drivers;
- Formulation of applications relating to the license.

Today I found online, a service that allows you to book appointments for the family doctor.

Referring to the Health Portal found this convenient service, the eAgenda - Electronic Scoring Consultation .

The measure provided for in the Simplex for 2008 seems to have only been available since March 2009, but the truth is that it exists and it is very practical!

Who already has the citizen card able to access this service with your card. The rest, can register with the NHS number, and mark your consultazinha. Seems like it's another step to end the Faggots of markings.

The site is "cute", accessible and easy to use. Another big step in the information society!

Bush and Teras Information

netapp-cabinets Apparently, according to Ars Technica , when Bush pass the presidency to Obama, the Archives of the United States will receive anything about how 100 terabytes.

This volume of information is approximately 50-100 times the amount of information left by Clinton in the transition to Bush.

All this volume of information is causing a huge buzz, given the amount itself, and the eventual ability of files to receive, integrate and process all information. It must also be clarified whether or not all can be incorporated as much staff be considered according to Dick Cheney.

Besides all the above questions, there is still the format .... anyway ... the usual:

"It's Not Just Size That Matters, though: the Archives Will Also Need to process reams of information locked in some quaint proprietary formats. The RMS index, for example, "Consists of an Implementation of a customized version of Documentum older running on Oracle, with image files (including copies of scanned records) incorporated the objects in the database." The photos are stored in a "proprietary photo MerlinOne called management software, running on Microsoft SQL to the database engine, "and apparently it Has Taken Several months to extract the images and metadata for relinkage outside the Merlin format. 1 comment December 15th, 2008 Edgar Durão a comment

According to today I realized this pyramid investment scheme led to one of the biggest frauds in the financial system: more than 50 billion. Throughout the world, several admit loss of millions. In Portugal, the Bank of Portugal is investigating the exposure of the banking system arising from the Portuguese case Madoff.

"Banks and funds victims of broker Madoff - New banks and funds in the U.S. and Europe have recognized today have been victims of broker Bernard Madoff, and complained about the quality of financial supervision of U.S. authorities."

I hope I never get to this point, although I believe that the next generations, and now ours, will suffer a lot with this excessive use we make of them ...

Figures for thought ...

1 comment April 16th, 2006 Edgar Durão a comment

At a time when so much is said online content, and precisely according to my opinion piece where the Internet at this time, the generation of downloads is red hot. With recent developments in phonographic associations and other entities engaged in combat the "theft" of music, movies and other content online, I sincerely hope that this time is concerned a good fringe of the existing "heavy Consumers" of the Internet. Many perhaps have not yet realized it, but the awareness campaigns are having an effect. In the limit we tend to say that the case for the sporadic user and corporate user. Can I make a mistake, but Bill has done :)

I leave an article in the Tek released yesterday:

Downloads motivate seen 80% of the Portuguese internet sites

Last year, 83.7 percent of the Portuguese internet sites visited allowing downloading of applications or files, a total of 1.365 million, according to the Marktest for the Netpanel 2005. In all were visited by 130 million pages, which resulted in a mean 95 pages per user.

The most important months in terms of unique users was in September, with 838,000, and this month there was also one where the largest number of pages viewed, 15 million.

The total time spent by the Portuguese internet browsing on sites that allow downloads surpassed 1.6 million hours, 1h11m per user, an average of 45 seconds per page, says Marktest.

In unique users, the top domain was led by the MSN site, with 895,000, followed by Microsoft, with 840 000 and the Frog, with 469 000. On pages visited, the first two players remain, with MSN to register 29.8 million and 19.2 million Microsoft. Thirdly, there is the site Btuga, with 12.5 million pages accessed.

The Btuga led in time spent, with 478,000 hours, followed by msn.com, with 248,000 hours and microsoft.com, with 108,000 hours.

Snow ...

No comments January 29th, 2006 Edgar Durão No comments

Today was a day of snow. For most of the country snow has fallen ...

I was already aware of most of the temperatures drop announced that announced in the media.

When I opened the TV in the morning, announcing the SIC Noticias that the A1 was cut below the Santarém due to be snowing in Torres Novas / Fatima.

Curiously it was the call from my mother who warned me: "Look here is snowing" ... Snow in Povoa de Santarem, who knew. Following quickly on MSN told me: "Man is snowing in Queensland." And so, Angela sent me some photos.

More in the afternoon since it was said: "It is snowing in London." My colleague Bruno Santos said "It's snowing in London and here in Sintra.

Unfortunately here in Monte fell a Snowflake, but no snow in large quantities.

Unfortunately as my camera batteries had not been able to capture the photo I saw a few flakes. Just took this with the Qtek, but nothing special shown ... We see a esbraquiçado who looked out the window later.

Still later in conversation with my grandmother told me that in Chouto in concelo Chamusca was all white boy .... Just look at white. In Lisbon confirmed that my sponsor also snowing.

And so on. Is clear that the news Television news all the time, and her photos appear in all blogs for this country. Well here's my tribute to the beautiful Snow White.

I hope that tomorrow will not snow and I wish it was not too cold, to see if it does not freeze :)

Lately ...

to vary not have put anything online. Well last week was the weekend election, and on Friday (January 21 if memory serves me right before we left San Pedro de Moel). Divine as usual, cold in January, but nothing else was expected.

Views of the beach houses

The views of the beach houses.

The sea

The sea.

Feet

Of course we had to "play" the sand ... .. Fingerprints prove so.

Sunday was time to go back to Lisbon, and of course, how could I still had a little time to go through Póvoa de Santarém and vote. Fulfill my civic duty.

Sunday night was election day, and eventually won the Professor. Cavaco Silva, with 50.59% of the vote. There was a second round, and the second most voted candidate was Manuel Alegre with 20.72% of the vote. Cavaco grossed 2746689 1125077 votes and Manuel Alegre.

Below were Mario Soares with 14.34%, Jeronimo de Sousa with 8.59% to 5.31% Louçã Francisco and Garcia Pereira with 0.44%.

And so ended another crazy race in Portugal, with 5531265 citizens to vote, a total of 8835237 subscribers.
